Somedays I just look at the kids and I feel my heart melting. Other days, it's the little things that they do and say that just make me so proud and happy to be their Mommy. Tonight was one of those times.
After rocking Emma for a while before bed, I put her down in her crib and turned on her Glo-Worm. As her music played, she just looked at me in such a way that tears sprang to my eyes. There was so much love and appreciation in her expression. We just looked at eachother for over a minute and I felt her looking right into my soul and touching my heart :)
I wish I could hold her tight and just stop time.
